To help implement courses within an organisation, Augeo academy has created a guide for organisation administrators. This contains a step by step description of how you can implement e-learning within your organisation. There is also a separate guide for cluster administrators.
Hoe informeer ik mijn medewerkers over de uitnodigingsmail die ze gaan krijgen?
How should I let my employees know about the invitation email they are going to receive?
The organisation administrator should let all the employees who are going to receive training know that they will be shortly receiving an invitation. It is good idea to include the following in your message:
- Briefly explain why it is important that your colleagues follow the training
- Get them motivated by providing links with the training modules demo and our Augeo magazine, the online magazine about growing up safely.
- Attach the Students' guide or a link to this guide to your message. This guide explains step by step how Students can log in on the first and subsequent occasions, and get started in their learning area.
- Let your employees know about the helpdesk: info@augeointernational.com.
The administrator informs all colleagues who will receive training, that they will receive two emails one with the login information and one with information about the training they have to take.
Please take the following into account:
- Explain to your colleagues why it is important to take the courses.
- To inform your colleagues and make them enthusiastic about the training you van sent the link of one or more demos of the training. You can find this link in the membership information at our site.
- Include the manual for students in your message. This gives a detailed description on how to log in and start the training.
- Inform them about our information and help email address: info@augeointernational.com.
When the Membership period ends, it is no longer to export progress reports. After the Membership period, you can no longer find anything on the training followed. Before your Membership expires, you do not receive any overview which serves as proof that your employees have actually followed training and which employees have been trained. Before the Membership expires, you can download progress reports from the website itself.
Domestic violence is common. Moreover, it is an issue that can affect people deeply and release a lot of emotions. Following the course can, therefore, be quite challenging for employees. Employees may have been abused themselves as children, or currently in an unsafe situation. It may also be the case that students realise that they themselves sometimes exceed the boundaries of others: as parent, partner or caregiver. Consequently, it is very important that attention is paid to employees' own experiences. Employees should not be left to deal with their emotions alone, they need to know who they can go to within the organisation to talk about their feelings, such as a counsellor or a manager.
Augeo academy training can be followed at any time and in any place. For Augeo academy training to work best, you will need a PC with sound and Flash 9 or higher, and an internet connection, as well as the following system requirements:
- Sufficiently fast internet connection. If the Wi-Fi connection is too slow, use a wired connection.
- Screen resolution: at least 1024 x 768
- Operating system: Windows 7 of 8
- Browser: Internet Explorer 11.x or higher, Chrome or Firefox. The e-learning modules created by Augeo academy for these browsers require that JavaScript is turned on and that cookies are always accepted.
- Plugins: Flash 9 or higher. If a plugin is required to view or listen to some of the content, then your system will automatically check if you have the appropriate plugin, without you noticing it. You will be notified and offered a solution if this is not the case.
We are currently working on a solution which will allow all our training to be followed all on a tablet. We are introducing this in stages. If a training module is already suitable for a tablet, this will be indicated in the introduction screen.
